Take the money without losing the account.
Optimization clinics get shut off by card processors more than almost any other kind of practice — because they sell prescription products. Aminova lets you choose where each kind of charge runs.

The reason clinics get shut off
Mainstream card processors prohibit prescription products in their terms, and they enforce it — usually by freezing the account with the balance in it. Clinics selling GLP-1s and testosterone find this out the hard way, mid-month. Aminova lets you plan for it: you choose which processor medication charges run on.
Several processors, your choice
Aminova supports several card processors. Most clinics run one for everyday charges, and clinics that sell medication add a high-risk-approved processor like PayBright beside it. Which charges go where is your call, agreed in writing when you set it up.
Cash-pay is the normal case here
Most optimization clinics run on cash, cards and memberships rather than claims. Everything — visits, packages, injectables, supplements, recurring plans — is built for that first, with insurance available for the clinics that want it rather than assumed for everyone.
One checkout. Two processors. Your rules.
A visit, an infusion and a prescription in one basket — each charge sent to the processor you chose for it.
You choose where medication charges run.
Many card processors don’t allow prescription or GLP-1 charges. So Aminova lets you send medication and membership charges to a high-risk-approved processor like PayBright, and everything else to your regular one. Each charge shows which processor it ran on.
- ✓Medication and membership charges to a high-risk-approved processor, if you choose
- ✓Visit and service revenue stays on your regular processor
- ✓Works for one-off charges and recurring plans alike
- ✓Each charge shows which processor it ran on
How A Charge Routes
Your routing applies to one-off and recurring charges alike.
The desk, the room, and the card you already have.
Take payment at the front desk on a terminal, from a card on file for a membership renewal, or from the patient in their own app. All of it posts to the same ledger against the same patient.
- ✓Terminal payments at the desk or in the room
- ✓Card on file for renewals and no-show fees
- ✓Patients pay in the patient app
- ✓Refunds capped at what was actually taken
Today — Payments
One ledger, whichever way the money came in.
Memberships that bill themselves.
Plans charge on schedule against the card on file, on whichever processor the clinic banks with. A decline marks the subscription past due and moves on rather than stopping the whole run — and a failed card is visible instead of silent.
- ✓Monthly, quarterly and annual plans, billed automatically
- ✓Runs on whichever processor you connected
- ✓Declines flagged for follow-up, not swallowed
- ✓A period is never double-billed, even on a repeated run
This Month’s Billing Run
Idempotent by period — a re-run cannot double-charge.
Superbills without becoming an insurance practice.
Plenty of cash-pay patients want to try their own reimbursement. Issue a superbill and let them file it themselves — you get paid at the time of service and stay out of the claims business entirely.
- ✓Superbills issued from the visit, with the codes filled in
- ✓Patient files it themselves — you are paid up front
- ✓HSA and FSA cards work like any other card
- ✓Full transaction history, exportable for your accountant
Superbill — Issued
You are paid before the patient ever contacts their insurer.

Anything else? Ask us on a demo — we will show you on a real clinic’s setup.
01Why can’t we put medication on our normal card processor?
Because mainstream card processors prohibit prescription products in their terms of service, and enforce it by freezing accounts — usually with your balance inside. This is the single most common way an optimization clinic loses its ability to take money. So Aminova lets you send medication charges to a high-risk-approved processor like PayBright instead — your choice, set up once.
02So how do we get paid for medication?
Through a processor approved for high-risk charges. We recommend PayBright, and we also partner with Corepay. Your visit and service revenue stays on your regular processor. Once you’ve set it up, each charge goes where you chose and shows which processor it ran on — and that can be the difference between a frozen account and a running clinic. How the Corepay partnership works →
03Can we connect more than one processor?
Yes. Most clinics run one processor for everyday charges and, if they sell medication, a high-risk-approved one like PayBright beside it. We steer clinics away from two everyday processors — reconciliation gets hard and subscriptions end up split across them.
04Do you take a cut of our payments?
Not out of your rate and not out of your settlement. You pay your processor’s normal rates directly, the money settles to your bank without passing through us, and Aminova charges you a monthly subscription. If you open an account with a processor we partner with, that processor may pay us a referral fee from its own share. It is never added to your bill.
05What about HSA and FSA cards?
They work exactly like any other card on the same rails. Whether a particular purchase is eligible is between the patient and their plan administrator, not something we can determine for them.
06Can patients pay their balance themselves?
Yes, in the patient app — balances, membership renewals and package purchases. Each payment runs on the processor you set for that kind of charge.
