The cheapest patient to win is one you already had.
Clinics spend thousands on ads while a list of lapsed patients sits untouched in their own system. Recalls, referrals and win-backs are the growth nobody has to pay an ad platform for.
Winning back a lapsed patient
From a list nobody was working to a booked visit.

Your best list is the one you already own
A lapsed TRT patient knows you, has been to your clinic and has a chart. Reaching them costs an email. Acquiring a stranger costs several hundred dollars and a month of ad spend. Most clinics do the expensive one because the cheap one requires a list nobody has time to build — so Aminova builds it for you.
Reminders that fire without anyone remembering
Overdue check-ins, protocol checkpoints, draws due, memberships about to renew. These are all knowable from the data you already have, and they’re the difference between a patient drifting quietly and a patient getting a nudge in week three.
Referrals are the channel that actually converts
A patient referred by a friend or sent by a physician arrives already trusting you. Aminova gives you both: a patient referral programme with rewards you set, and a token link you hand to referring doctors so they can send you a patient without an account, a login or a fax.
The follow-up nobody has time to chase.
Draws due, checkpoints reached, check-ins missed, renewals approaching. Reminders fire on the schedule the protocol implies, rather than depending on someone noticing.
- ✓Overdue check-in reminders, sent automatically
- ✓Protocol checkpoints and draws due, on schedule
- ✓Membership renewals flagged before they lapse
- ✓Runs as a scheduled job, not as a task on someone’s list
Due This Week
Fires on schedule — nobody has to remember to run it.
Win-backs, sent properly.
Build a list from real criteria — lapsed members, patients who never rebooked, everyone on a given protocol — and send from the clinic. One-click unsubscribe is signed and honoured, because getting that wrong is a legal problem, not a courtesy.
- ✓Lists built from clinical and billing criteria, not a CSV
- ✓One-click unsubscribe, signed and honoured permanently
- ✓Automation rules for recurring sends
- ✓Restricted to owners and managers
Win-Back — Lapsed Members
Eleven rebookings from a list that was sitting there anyway.
Reward the patients who bring you people.
Give patients a referral code, set the reward, and let the system track who sent whom. The credit lands automatically when the referred patient actually becomes a patient — not when they click a link.
- ✓Per-patient referral codes, shared from your app
- ✓Rewards you define — account credit or a discount
- ✓Credit issued when the referral converts, not on signup
- ✓Reward amounts are a manager-level setting
Referrals — March
Compare that with what a paid ad costs you per new patient.
A link you hand to a referring physician.
Referring doctors will not create an account in your EMR. Give them a token link instead — they open it, submit the patient, and it lands in your clinic as a lead. No login, no fax, no portal for them to forget the password to.
- ✓A private link per referring doctor or practice
- ✓No account, no login — they just submit
- ✓Leads land scoped to your clinic, attributed to that referrer
- ✓The link carries no patient data and no clinic data
Referring Providers
Each referrer has their own link, so attribution is automatic.
How it works
Three moves, one platform.
The system knows who’s overdue, who stopped checking in and who never rebooked. That’s your list.
Send the recall or campaign from the clinic, with one-click opt-out handled properly.
They rebook from your app, and the result shows up against the campaign rather than being a guess.
Growth from what you already have.
Your brand, one login, no stitched-together stack.
Automatic reminders
Overdue check-ins and draws due, on schedule.
Win-back campaigns
Lists built from real criteria, not a CSV.
One-click unsubscribe
Signed, honoured, and permanent.
Patient referrals
Codes, rewards and conversion tracking.
Doctor referral portal
A link that needs no account.
Attribution
Which referrer and which campaign actually worked.
Rebook in the app
The call to action is one tap, not a phone call.
Manager-gated
Sending to your whole patient base is not open to all.
Reward tracking
Credit issued on conversion, not on a click.
Questions
Is marketing to patients allowed under HIPAA?
It depends what you’re sending, and the distinction matters. Treatment-related communication — a reminder that labs are due, a refill nudge — is treated very differently from promotional marketing, which can require patient authorisation. Aminova gives you the tools and keeps the audit trail; which of your campaigns falls on which side is a question for your own counsel, and we won’t pretend it’s a settled matter.
How does unsubscribe work?
Every campaign email carries a signed one-click opt-out. The link can’t be forged or enumerated, and the opt-out is permanent unless the patient re-subscribes. Getting this wrong is a CAN-SPAM problem rather than an etiquette problem, so it’s built in rather than left to you.
Can we send to everyone?
You can, and it’s restricted to owners and managers precisely because you can. Most clinics get better results from a list of 86 lapsed members than from a blast to everyone — and the whole point of building lists from clinical criteria is that you don’t have to blast.
How do doctor referrals work without an account?
Each referring practice gets its own token link. They open it, submit the patient’s details, and the lead lands in your clinic attributed to them. There’s no login to forget and the link itself exposes no patient or clinic data. Referring physicians will use a link; they will not maintain a password in your EMR.
When does a patient referral reward get issued?
When the referral actually converts into a patient, not when someone clicks a link. Reward amounts are a manager-level setting, because a referral programme is real money going out.
Do you charge for sending?
No per-message fee from us — it’s part of the flat monthly platform fee. At high volume your email provider may have its own costs, and we’ll tell you before that becomes a surprise. See pricing →
