01Do you connect to Labcorp or Quest?
No. Aminova has no direct interface to Labcorp, Quest or any other lab, and nothing is sent to a lab electronically. You order through your own lab account; results reach the chart when your team uploads the report or enters the values. Your account and pricing with the lab are untouched.
02So how do results actually get into the chart?
Two ways today. Someone uploads the report the lab sent back, which attaches to the chart and files under Lab Results — or the values are typed in, which is what an in-house draw uses. Entered values are stored analyte by analyte, so they flag and trend. An uploaded PDF stays a PDF until someone keys the numbers in.
03Can we keep our current lab relationship?
Yes, and most clinics should. Your pricing with a lab is usually better than anything we’d arrange, and cash-pay optimization clinics often have deals worth keeping. Aminova is the chart, not the middleman.
04What about draws we do in-house?
Enter results directly and they behave identically — same discrete values, same flagging, same trend lines. A finger-stick A1C in the room and a send-out panel end up on the same chart.
05Can we import historical results?
Usually. We handle it as part of migration, and how much comes across as trendable data versus attached documents depends on what your current system will export. We’ll look at a sample and tell you honestly before you commit.
06Do patients see results automatically?
Only when a provider releases them. That’s deliberate — a flagged hematocrit shouldn’t reach a patient at 11pm with no context. Release is one click once you’ve reviewed it.
07Can we set our own reference ranges?
Yes. Optimization clinics routinely work to tighter or different targets than a lab’s population range, so you can set your own and have flagging follow yours rather than the lab’s.
